A mobile response service for socially monitored/pendant alarms is now operating in Ireland. Home Response and Assistance Ltd’s 24 hour call-out service, provides trained staff to respond to ‘non-medical’ emergency alarm activations, when family or carers may not be available.  This is the first dedicated telecare 24/7 home response service in Ireland, that this Editor is aware of. The company, based in Clonshaugh Dublin, provides responder services throughout Ireland.

 

Emergency alarm button calls are often made for simple issues that can be resolved by a visit to the home. Home Response and Assistance Ltd can be contacted by your pendant alarm/telecare monitoring centre (i.e. when your pendant button is pressed). They can also be telephoned directly or by an authorised family member.
